The Sculptor Of Colors
I was born in March of 1947 under the sign of Pisces in the town of Mátészalka, Hungary.
I completed my education in Art as a graphic artist and painter at the end of the 60s in Warsaw, at the Academy of Fine Arts. After my first exhibition abroad in Scandinavia, I received a royal Norwegian scholarship. In the following years I lived and pursued my art in Italy, in Rome and Sicily. From 1971 I settled in California after living for a time in New York and Montreal. There I established my studio in Santa Monica. Aside from their exhibition in the USA, during this time my paintings were displayed in the most significant cities of Europe, as well as Australia, Israel and Japan. My works found buyers in almost every country on the planet.
In the mid-80s I emigrated back to Europe. I opened my studio first in Paris and Münich, then Zürich, and later Liechtenstein. To the present day, I live and ply my Art amid the Alps beside the Lake of Constanze. In 1982 – after a lengthy hiatus – I exhibited my paintings in the Műcsarnok museum, Budapest.
As a result of these successful expositions in Europe, a series of works in various media was born. I gained the opportunity to express my imagination in many countries through oil paintings, public monuments and painted and cut lead crystal, as well as on stained glass, jewelry, silk and textile, walls and décor objects made from porcelain, in addition to works of graphic art.
Passing the time in my life, well after the so called “Age of Christ” the fantastic process yet continues. In the course of the last few years my works have seen great success in the Near and Far East, as well.
